This past weekend was Easter. We went out on the ice in Båtvik on Friday and Monday. It was really nice. Especially today when the weather was so nice. Here are some pics:

Hello all my English speaking friends (Mary)!

I'm now trying out windows live writer, hoping that it will make it more fun to blog on blogspot. I know I've been mostly using my Swedish blog lately, but perhaps there'll be a change to this now?

Writing in English is not as easy as in Swedish, but I still think I'm gonna give it another try. Especially with everything going on in my life right now...

However, I just wrote you (Mary) a letter about my big plans and I don't want to write about it here before you receive it.

Gonna try all fun stuff now...

  Here is a map of where we live. That's about all fun I found by using the windows live thingy. I think using the regular blog is just as good. This wasn't simpler + it didn't work all that well. Perhaps it's easy to upload lots of pics or something? Maybe I'll try that later. Right now I'm going to my sisters place for a cup of tea...

It's been a long time..

It's been a long time since I last updated my English blogg.
I don't know why really... perhaps it's because I know you've been looking at my Swedish blogg too.

Greece was fantastic. We went there for a week. We could fly straight from Skellefteå to Preveza, which was great. It took about 3,5 hours to fly there!
We had a great time. It was really hot there, so we couldn't stay out in the sun the whole day. We just got so tired from the heat. We had to take a siesta every day.
We did a lot of swimming (the water was really nice) and went out for dinner every night. They had lots of good cheese :)
We walked a lot to explore some other beaches. One day we rented a car and followed the coast from Parga to Preveza + visiting the island Lefkas for lunch and a swim. We saw some old buildings and remainings at Necromantia and Nikopolis and did some shopping in Preveza. It was a really nice day.
The last day before going home we went on a boat trip to the Blue caves, Anti-paxos and Paxos. It was really nice! We got to see wild dolphins, swim in amazingly blue and clear water and enjoy a sunny day out on the sea.

This weekend it was the first taekwondo competition for the season. I did alright, but I think I could do better. I won my first match, but lost the final to a girl from the same group as me. She's much taller than me and I knew it would be difficult for me to win. I ended up with a silver medal. It was a fun trip and I feel more dedicated to my training now.

Other than that nothing new is happening. Still working part time as a dance teacher. Still training tkd 3-4 times a week. That's pretty much it.

This sort of became o whole letter to you, I hope I can write you a real one soon!

Volleyboll

Hello! :D

I really, really love summer! I love all the things you can do outside when it's warm, I love the sun, I love ice cream.. haha! Can't get enough! ;)

Tonight we played Volley boll. It was real fun. It's one of those things I only do in summer. I'm not really good at it but I like it a lot and I do it for the fun. It's gonna be many more nights of playing :)

Yesterday I bought myself a pair of running shoes. I've wanted a pair for a couple of years now, but I've been thinking it's too expensive. Especially since I don't run very often.

Anyway, those were on sale, they were pretty and I have lots of energy rignt now to get rid of when both the dance and taekwondo has a break for the summer.

Jessica and I went jogging last night and it was actually more fun than I remember. I still think it's a bit boring, but I amazed myself by running the distance I'd set as my goal: 2 km. That's also my new record! I've never made it that far before. So, I was impressed by myself. I know 2 km isn't that far, but it's a real good start for me.

And now that it went well I wanna go back and try again! :D

Gotta get some sleep now!

long time

Hello!

I know it's been a while since my last update. That's just me...

It's been real nice weather here. Skellefteå was even the warmest city in Europe a couple of days ago. Wow! That's hard to believe... but really cool and we had a really hot day, so I guess it's true :)

Anyways... there has been lots of things going on.

June 2 I had my test to advance to a new level in taekwondo. I now have the second blue belt. On my way to becoming an advanced player.

Later that day we had a big party at the club. We all had dinner together and then we partied until early in the morning. :)

It was real fun and I had a great time.

I've been out enjoying the sun. We've had some bbq evenings - I really love bbq! :)

And I love the light at night! It's almost never dark out. Not when I'm awake, anyway. I never wanna go to sleep. I just don't seem to get tired anymore. This is what I'm waiting for all year. :)

Yesterday Jessica and I danced at a home for elders. It was really nice and appreciated. I love performing! :D
