It's been a long time..

It's been a long time since I last updated my English blogg.
I don't know why really... perhaps it's because I know you've been looking at my Swedish blogg too.

Greece was fantastic. We went there for a week. We could fly straight from Skellefteå to Preveza, which was great. It took about 3,5 hours to fly there!
We had a great time. It was really hot there, so we couldn't stay out in the sun the whole day. We just got so tired from the heat. We had to take a siesta every day.
We did a lot of swimming (the water was really nice) and went out for dinner every night. They had lots of good cheese :)
We walked a lot to explore some other beaches. One day we rented a car and followed the coast from Parga to Preveza + visiting the island Lefkas for lunch and a swim. We saw some old buildings and remainings at Necromantia and Nikopolis and did some shopping in Preveza. It was a really nice day.
The last day before going home we went on a boat trip to the Blue caves, Anti-paxos and Paxos. It was really nice! We got to see wild dolphins, swim in amazingly blue and clear water and enjoy a sunny day out on the sea.

This weekend it was the first taekwondo competition for the season. I did alright, but I think I could do better. I won my first match, but lost the final to a girl from the same group as me. She's much taller than me and I knew it would be difficult for me to win. I ended up with a silver medal. It was a fun trip and I feel more dedicated to my training now.

Other than that nothing new is happening. Still working part time as a dance teacher. Still training tkd 3-4 times a week. That's pretty much it.

This sort of became o whole letter to you, I hope I can write you a real one soon!

Volleyboll

Hello! :D

I really, really love summer! I love all the things you can do outside when it's warm, I love the sun, I love ice cream.. haha! Can't get enough! ;)

Tonight we played Volley boll. It was real fun. It's one of those things I only do in summer. I'm not really good at it but I like it a lot and I do it for the fun. It's gonna be many more nights of playing :)

Yesterday I bought myself a pair of running shoes. I've wanted a pair for a couple of years now, but I've been thinking it's too expensive. Especially since I don't run very often.

Anyway, those were on sale, they were pretty and I have lots of energy rignt now to get rid of when both the dance and taekwondo has a break for the summer.

Jessica and I went jogging last night and it was actually more fun than I remember. I still think it's a bit boring, but I amazed myself by running the distance I'd set as my goal: 2 km. That's also my new record! I've never made it that far before. So, I was impressed by myself. I know 2 km isn't that far, but it's a real good start for me.

And now that it went well I wanna go back and try again! :D

long time

Hello!

I know it's been a while since my last update. That's just me...

It's been real nice weather here. Skellefteå was even the warmest city in Europe a couple of days ago. Wow! That's hard to believe... but really cool and we had a really hot day, so I guess it's true :)

Anyways... there has been lots of things going on.

June 2 I had my test to advance to a new level in taekwondo. I now have the second blue belt. On my way to becoming an advanced player.

Later that day we had a big party at the club. We all had dinner together and then we partied until early in the morning. :)

It was real fun and I had a great time.

I've been out enjoying the sun. We've had some bbq evenings - I really love bbq! :)

And I love the light at night! It's almost never dark out. Not when I'm awake, anyway. I never wanna go to sleep. I just don't seem to get tired anymore. This is what I'm waiting for all year. :)

Yesterday Jessica and I danced at a home for elders. It was really nice and appreciated. I love performing! :D

Pic nic

Today when Mattias woke up we went on a pic nic. It was sunny and nice weather and we haven't seen each other much lately, so it was really nice.

We went down by the river, at Rovön, where we found a place that wasn't that windy and where we could be just the two of us.

We ate lunch and then we just enjoyed the sun for a while. It's really nice that it's finally getting warmer outside.

I even got some color today! :D

Spring Show

Hello!

The Spring Show is suddenly over. We had the premiere on Friday night. Then there was two shows on Saturday, one on Sunday and today we had two shows for schools.

It's been a lot of fun and the students have been great!

Everyone has done o real good job and I'm proud of my dancers.

I got flowers and chocolate from my groups and it made me so happy. :)

premiere!

Tonight was the big Premiere of our Spring show called Drömmar (=dreams). It went really well for everyone and it was a nice show.

My students looked great out there and I'm really proud. It looked much better than on the rehearsals, and they looked good :)

After the show we got flowers :D I'm wearing the new dress I got from my mom today. Thanks, mommie!

hello!

Today is Tuesday which means tomorrow is Wednesday! It's crazy how time just flies by. Tomorrow we have a big rehearsal for the spring show. I can't believe that the show is this weekend! Aaaah!

Monday Monday

Hello!

Today it's Monday but I don't know what it feels like...

So, what did I do today? First I had lunch with Jessica. It was nice. She had just been to the hair salon and she looked great! She had cut her hair and colored and highlighted it.

After she left I just walked around and looked in different shops.

Didn't really find anything though.

I had tea with my mum on the way home.

Than I made dinner for Mattias and I. We had fish sticks with potatoes and spinach.

After that I went to tae kwon do practise. It was alright. I've got a lot to learn before I get my new belt! But the test is in less than two weeks so I better study hard!

Now I'm gonna relax with my man before going to sleep!

Hello!
I'm the girl who has two blogs. How confusing is that?
Anyways, this is my English blog. Which I would like to dedicate to my dear penpal Mary in Oregon. This is for you! I know that I really suck on writing letters at the moment. I never seem to find time for myself to just sit down and take it easy and write. I'm all stressed out all the time! So, I somehow do find some time sitting in front of the computer. Both working and keeping in touch with friends. So, I'm gonna try to blog some here for you to see.

Yesterday Jessica and I danced at a big event for youth in Skellefteå. It was 600 people there watching! We weren't really ready for that, but it was sooo fun! It was a great audience.
Today there is a pic of us in the local newspaper. That's great!
Hopefully it will lead to more dance jobs for the two of us. :)

Right now I'm at my mum and dads place. None of them is here though.. dad is working on the boat in Furuögrund and mum is planting some flowers on grandpas grave.
Hopefully she'll get back soon so I can meet here.

Later I'm going to go shopping with Jessica.
We're going out tonight. I think it will be fun, but I'm gonna try to get to sleep not too late tonight. Tomorrow morning I'm gonna hold a dance workshop for 12 of those 600 kids watching us last night.
